There are many manufacturers of "Nag Champa" but the best selling version in the world is Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa. Named for the Indian spiritual figure Sathya Sai Baba and packaged in a distinctive blue box, this is the incense you remember but never knew what to call it.
Imported from India, it belongs to the "Champa" class of incenses which are created from the Champa flower. It also contains a high concentration of Sandalwood and a small of amount of "halmaddi" which is a semi-liquid resin that is naturally hygroscopic and causes Nag Champa to feel slightly moist and also gives it it's characteristic grey color.
